Coaches' Expectations


Do your best to stay off of phones during games

- Wear proper RB attire as a staff

- Be on time to games and workouts

- Do not have open arguments in front of players

- Do not openly single out players who are playing in the field

- Give the players 100% of your time during the practices/games/events you are supposed to be at

Player/Parent Expectations

  • Player Expectations:

- Players will be on time, at all times, unless communicated with their coach one hour before practices and games

- Carry yourself in a manner of which you, your parents, your coaches, and community can be proud 

- Never leave the field early while teammates are cleaning the field

- Control the Controlables

- Leave the fields, dugouts, practice facilities a better place than when you got there

- Absolutely NO talking to parents while practices and games are going on (unless an injury occurs and parents need to be involved)

- Lastly and most importantly, give us 100% effort you have everyday!!


Parent Expectations:

- Have your kids dropped off on time

- During practice and game times, including the post-game field cleanup, do not have any communication with your players UNTIL THE COACHES HAVE TOLD THE PLAYERS THEY MAY LEAVE.

- That includes the following:

- Communicating with them during Game and Practice time

- Coming into or around the dugout at any point, for ANY REASON

- Dropping off baseball equipment that the players forgot

- Be Mr. and Mrs. Positive! I promise they will need it

- Support every player on your team and in the program

- Communicate with your coach if you have an issue. Please do not go straight to Coach Matheson with any issue, unless it cannot be resolved with you current coach.

- No sideline coaching


Expectation Violations w/ Consequences (Players):

- If a player violates an expectation, that is within their control, they will be required to attend the next game and they will have the following consequences:

1st - Player will not start the next game

2nd - Player will not play for 2 games

3rd - Player will be asked to leave the program


Expectation Violations w/ Consequences (Parents):

If a parent violates an expectation, that is within their control, the following steps will occur:

1st - Verbal warning

2nd - You and your player will be asked to leave that current event and will not be allowed to participate in the next event

3rd - You and your player will be asked to leave the program


Uniforms:

These will be required at EVERY PRACTICE AND GAME:

RB Hat

RB Shirt

Grey Pants

Royal Blue Belt

Royal Blue Socks

***If a player forgets part of his uniform he will not be allowed to participate in that event***

Non-Coaching/Administrative:

Wayne Moeck will be in charge of all non-baseball coaching duties, which includes insurance, field permits, game scheduling, monthly fees, etc. Please ask Wayne any administrative questions. (Don't ask the coaches.)
